I have a 01 sport trac and the ecu is bad , i need to know if a can use a 2002 explorer xlt ecu is 4.0l sohc like my st, i have that ecu on my garage .

IIRC, the ECU/PCM four digit code needs to match. (TTY3, JXV3, etc.)
