Noticed I posted this in the wrong section (swap and sell, doh!) I wanted to repost..

I have the 07 Radio that is NOT the 6CD Changer. It has the sirius "module" (for lack of a better term) installed.

Can i easily swap this for the 6CD Changer version of factory radio? Will the satellite radio be able to connect?

If so, I just need to find someone replacing their 6CD Changer version w/aftermarket to buy the radio off of. I know I could just buy aftermarket myself (and lose the factory satellite), but I like the factory look, and second I would have no idea how to make the steering wheel /temp controls controls work w/something like an aftermarket DVD/GPS unit. If anyone has any suggestions on how to do that, Id consider getting an AVIC-D3...I just do not want to lose use of steering wheel AND temp controls. I know the PAC SWIX will do audio, but will it also retain use of temp controls?

Yes, the PAC SW will also maintain temp controls. I have the AVIC-Z1 installed in my 07 and all of my sterring wheel controls work. I don't know about the ability to swap factory radios and still have your SAT radio....

I have a 2007 factory 6 cd changer with Sirius for sale.

I replaced it with a Pioneer AVIC-D3 navigation system.

Shoot me an email if you're interested. I'll give you the member-to-member discount:p

I have an 07 ST factory radio (audiophile) 6cd changer/mp3 but it does NOT have the factory satellite radio. I am trying to find the factory radio with the satellite to replace mine. Trade or purchase possible. Right now I'm using an fm modulator (ugh) mounted on the dash.

For XM, http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=15004&langId=-1

For Sirius, http://www.oem-auto-accessory.com/factory_ford_sirius_radio_kit_with_t100_plugs.html

Oh. I'm sure there's an option.

Be thankful you didn't get an '08 with Sirius. My factory antenna is cute and all, but the '08 gets a different antenna that's huge and looks like a shark's fin.

At this point, no one has developed the required connection to install satellite radio on the 07 6cd/mp3 radio with AUX button so that it works directly. The only mod avaqilable is through fm modulation. TERK/audiovox have not bothered to make the required equipment and they will tell you personally that it WILL NOT WORK.

That is what I have found as well.

Are you guys talking about factory or aftermarket?

My factory Sirius "module" i have now w/my non 6cd changer version factory HU should work fine if I bought a factory HU with the 6cd changer, right? I assume steering wheel controls will also function still?

Check this link. I have been searching for a OEM Sirius Sat Module because I have the iPod plug but want the Sirius hardwired. This allows you to do Sirius and you do not lose steering wheel controls. AXXESS makes the same type of connection but will allow both iPod and Sat radio. Check ebay because there have been a lot of kits with everything you need in one package. Seems to run about $225 with this module plus a XM Tuner and the iPod cable.
