08 door panel/speaker size

Does anyone know how to remove the front door panels to replace speakers? I have searched but cannot find instructions on 07+ models. I took the plastic piece off the pw/pl controls and see those two small screws inside. Are those the only two screws and the rest just pop off? I dont wanna break anything. Also I know they are 6x8s but will 6x9s fit w/o any modification? I already have those and would like to use em if possible.

2 screws at bottom of door panel. 2 screws in pull handle. 2 screws in switch part at the front. Lift.



6x9s will require modification.

get a nice set of 6.5 inch components...does the STA have tweetersin it?

Ive never looked, but I dont think so. My 6x9s have em so it should help the sound, but hopefully I wont have to alter it to fit too much to make em fit.

My 08 STA has factory tweet locations.



I bought 5x7s because I got an INSANE deal on them. Otherwise I would have bought 6.5 comps and made an MDF plate.

I just looked at mine, and dont see any spot for tweeters? Looks similar to Dingo's.

That's really weird. Mine has a mesh grill near the window up/down control. I'll get pics of it tonight.

I'm trying to find a picture of it right now. I thought Adrian Drenalin had the same thing on his doors also but I don't see them in his profile.



I do see a crazy fully enclosed and self amped bass system though! BassLink? I've heard decent things about those things!
