If your talking a suspension lift, they are hard to find as a kit, took superlift 6 months to build mine back in 04 as they are different then 03, and they discontinued as no one wanted them for tracs, that was a full 4 inch with everything. i have searched for a bolt on kit for years with no luck. if you are wanting to get bigger tires, then body lifts are around. you can retain your factory shocks going to 33s and that is maxing out your clearance with a 3 inch body lift. that option is wayyy cheaper and looks good in my opinion. people have mentioned lifts for rangers and they are different. if you find any kits please let me know as i know people who want them.

Hi James! I got some Monroe air shocks for 58 bucks (Rock Auto) Since air bags are hard to find that are in my budget these were the deal for me. What do you think about extended shocks and longer shackles? A lift kit might be nice, although I haven't tried cranking up my torsion bars, but saw a 3" lift kit on e-bay I'm considering but wondering if the ride might be harsh,,,,

Strut spacers,,,,are they considered a body lift? Saw them on Amazon.

Hey, Dan, air shocks are same as air bags pretty much, i have them to eliminate sag from a trailer so i run at 40lbs. then depending on load i will pump them to 65 etc, my buddy is putting in the torch as Mcaroll mentioned above so i will let ya know how his turns out. i told him body lift as he can utilize stock suspension, the tires is where you really can lose or gain in the ride department. mainly in feedback but stiff springs will let you know where the potholes are. Your location mentions flagstaff area, loved 4wheelin behind lary mary and mormon and kinnikinnick way back in the day.

Lake Mary is full now, Mormon lake too. Been a long time since they were full. I have a 77 Power Wagon I want to buy rims for that will fit my Sportrac too, so thats why Im thinking of a lift kit. 32's? Anyway I'm on a low budget, had to retire early. Can't afford a lot, still have a house payment for many years to come. Both trucks have the same bolt pattern, Sportrac has smaller centerhole than Dodge (biggest difference)

Crazy, as lower lake mary was always low back in 80s, a 77 power wagon is sooo cool, there getting so rare and pricey. and 32s or 31s is a good fit, the back is so simple to get either to fit but the front with turning with out spacers is that tricky spot. cranking torsion bars gives it a inch if there not cranked up yet, body lifts are a good fit for tracks as the frame does not stick out like most trucks and jeeps, cheap but a little elbow grease but with the wagon from 1977 i bet you got the experience to do..

Body lift,,,,would that be strut spacers? My torsion bars are stock. My tires rub on full turns as it sits right now, would like to cure that. Spacers you are talking about are they strut spacers?

A body lift replaces body to frame bushings with bigger spacers/ mounts, seperating body from frame, most factory bushings or body mounts get toast over the years, most the lifts you see with tracks are body lifts, 3 inches which give you room for 32s,most kits come with bumper relocation brackets, they run a 100 or more or less, there are lots of videos of job you can check, nissan titans and yotas you can add a spacer over mounts like you mentioned, your options for tracks are few as most people left them stock so limited after market products, i would crank the torsion bars if your rubbing, so easy and levels it out a little.

Any recomandations on body lift companies? I will try to adjust my T bars first along with air shocks in the rear.

No strut spacers are usually considered a suspension leveling kit as they lift the front to be level with rear. Now the gen 2 st has struts on all 4 corners, and o think you can get about a 1 or 2 inch lift on those with spacers. Kinda limited on the 2nd gen as the rear halfshafts pass through the frame rail.

Since there’s so much seasoned experience regarding lifts in this thread I think it’s a good place to ask this. Some years ago I installed a pair of eccentric torsion bar keys to bring my front end up a few inches to even with the rear after replacing the leaf springs. But a chain store mechanic broke one of the bolts during an alignment and replaced it with a shorter one without telling me. Could someone please share the specs for these adjustment bolts so I can source them from a third party? Thanks
