Hey all, im ready, im getting my Mustang! I am gunna get the Cervini 500 kit put on it within a couple months of purchasing... but what I wanted to know from people was, is if there is a reason to be looking more at an 06 model instead of an 06? Other than it being newer, not necessarily less miles because im only going to purchase one with under 20k km, wether its 05 or 06...

SO I guess what im wanting to know is, is there something mechanically better or visually interior or whatever thats better on an 06 over an 05?

I Believe there is no major diff between them....

Both S197 style, same V-8. As long as you're going pre-owned, instead of just a cervini kit, get blown or twin turbo'd and use the ST to tow it to the track. We've got an 07' GT/CS as my wife's driver, but son #1 has a twin 90 GT, shooting for 800+ HP. If he stay's straight and gets to 1000, I'll tow him to the track.

By the way, check this forum out. A lot of good, knowledgable people.

Ken,

Nice ride! (The '07 GT/CS, that is...) Got any pics?

I haven't found any differences in parts yet either... I too have an '07 GT/CS that I just put a Cervini's rear 'wing' on. I had wanted one since Patrick Pierobon posted pics of an orange Mustang with a C-500 kit on it. I didn't know who made it, but I wanted the rear spoiler. My parts guy at Ford said he could order me a ducktail spoiler after I showed him pics of the orange Stang. When they rolled the car out of the shop, it wasn't the right one. I finally found one after searching Mustang parts web pages for days... Turns out that the one that was on there was a Xenon. I just got the Mustang back Thursday with the new spoiler on it! Whatcha think? I like it a LOT more! It's WAY more aggressive.

Ford did a nice job on this, and V/B makes it !

Jeff,

Yes sir, the CS comes with a different chin spoiler & 'Shelby style' rear diffuser.

Ken,

Great color choice!! Wanna buy a rear spoiler... Cheap? And yes, it's got a few mods. About $20k worth so far...

Thanks guys...

As for the cervini kit, I just love the looks of it. I may only get the body mods from them, but id sure love to have all the upgraded suspension, etc, but I might be able to save a couple thousand bucks doing all that myself.

I will get the car ffirst, then go from there.

Big D - I haven't decided on keeping the trac for sure but I really want to keep it since I wont get nearly what i'd want for it. And yes its silver frost.
