a GEN 1 will work if you DONT have the factory bed cover...... I think some one in Ohio area is selling one and willing to ship...

I take it that the brackets for the factory bed cover would interfere with the bed extender.

I have been looking too, I found one on Facebook Marketplace. May want to search there under bed extender, ford parts, etc. Also suggest you look on Craigslist, found a couple there but too far away. Also found a new one for $275 shipped. Sent me a PM if I can help.
