2007 leaking roof update

This has GOT to be the

problem on the new Tracs. That's why you never buy one in the first model year of

production! We are trying to get all of the bugs worked out!!!

But the standard Explorers that the 07 Tracs are based on have been around since, what, 2004? Isn't the 07 Trac the same as the 04 Explorer from the B-pillar forward? Just an observation.

FlipTrac that's a good point. It's funny you bring that up because the dealer told me that because my vehicle is so new, there was nothing for them to refrence this problem to. Are you sure the '04 explorers and up are the same as the '07 sport trac?



PS- if this eventually turns out to be a TSB and I'm the first person to have it, can I ask Ford to at least name it after me? How's this sound - "The NYJOHN leaky roof TSB"

Actually, the '02 Explorers and up are the same as the '07 Trac. 2001 was the last 'old style' Explorer with solid axle.
