Why will people quit using the Trac as a work "truck"? One major problem. IRS!!! I seriously doubt it will be able to handle the abuse I would give it. No air bags to help with weight. No adding a leaf to handle more weight.
If anyone wanted to raise or lower the Trac, they would need a spring kit. IIRS, to lift or lower a 2002 to present Explorer, we are not talking about some blocks or shackles and tightening of the torsion bars. You will need to replace the springs and possibly the shocks. We are talking about $500.00+ dollars to do that. Many here like the "lifted" look. Better get ready to open your wallets. Same goes for you guys that like the lowered look. You won't be able to do it for $50.00 like before.

And I thought the Chevy Colorado was ugly. Boy do I feel stupid.
