I thought it was a burnt motor, so I bought a new regulator/motor and to test it I hooked it up to the wiring and the new motor rolled up but wouldn't roll down. I tested the wiring harness in the door and the wires from the switch to the motor give 13v consistently for each action (roll up, roll down), but the voltage drops off when I click it all the way down for auto-open. All other windows work fine.
Is the switch messed up? I took it apart and deox'd it, but it looked clean and dandy and the fact that the switch still gives 13v to the motor is perplexing.
Or did i just get a second broken motor shipped to me with the exact same problem, and what is the cause of the problem that the motor only works one way? Is this common??
