Just did my 30K mile service....fuel filter, oil and tire rotation. 1-1/2 hours in the driveway. Had to modify the fuel filter tool a bit. OEM brake pads still are 1/4 thick all around. Trans fluid looks like it just came out of the bottle....pink, clear, no odor, no particles. Tire wear is very even. No end play in wheel bearings. This Trac has never been in the shop [not counting trans fluid additive]. Bought in Feb 2004; it's been flawless. Can't be happier with the most versatile vehicle I've ever owned.

Change any of the gear box fluids????

I'd still get the transmission flushed and put in the proper Mercon V ATF since you had the recall for the additive. Even though it's still pink it can be worn out some. If it's a 4x4 the book calls for changing the transfer case lube at 60k but I'd suggest doing it at 30k anyway. It's easy to do the t-case yourself, takes regular Mercon ATF (not Mercon V).

Late-model Ford automatics are not known for long lives if you don't change the trans fluid every 30k (or more often).

Johnny,,, In your signature you have forgotten the Throttle body spacer..
