This weekend i just put new wheels (American Racing Mojave Teflon 17x8) and tires (Bridgestone A/T Dueler Revos) on my truck and decided to visit some old college buddies up in Chico, CA. We then got drunk and decided to do some off roading (DO NOT TRY AT HOME) so we went to an old place that we used to go to back in the day in my friend's Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and it used to go a little something like this.[Broken External Image]:

But the owners were not particularly keen on the idea of allowing random people to off road on their property so they decided then to dig a ditch and our trip actually ended like this.[Broken External Image]:

Luckily i wasnt going fast enough to clear that little mud hill otherwise my Trac would have been toast. But it did take us 4 hours, 2 snapped tow ropes, and a tow truck to get us out. God I love my trac.

Sorry for the artistry, I didnt have a camera with me and it was about 7-11pm during this little adventure.

Greek

Classic....

Great post Greek. Glad you had fun and stayed safe.

Speaking of Tacoma's. My friend came out with his and tried to pull me out using a 7 thousand pound rescue line. We hooked up, he pulled and pulled, the 3.5 ton cable snapped in half and sent sparks flying out from under my truck. Built Ford Tough. Check out my library for the after shot
