5th shock, is it on the Sport Trac?

Hello All,



On my 2001 Sport Trac I noticed that it has the brackets for the 5th shock/stabilizer but it appears that one was never on it. Did the Sport Trac have the 5th shock/stabilizer? Is it worth it to put one on?

The "rear axle lateral shock absorber" was factory installed on certain 1991-2001 FOUR DOOR Explorers only. See post #20 linked on the bottom.

Than you and thank you! I did look at the post number 20 and it refers to the 2 door sport. I have the 4 door Sport Trac.

Fifth shock was NEVER factory installed on SPORT TRAC'S, regardless of how many doors. :grin:
