My cd player in my ST won't play and it won't eject any of my cds, all I get is a message saying CD ERROR. Got any suggestions on how I can solve this problem?

My '02 would do that all the time when it got hot. It would jam up if tried to eject or switch CDs. I had to pull it out of the dash, pull the cover, and help the CD's out with it plugged in. I ended up getting another used one off E-bay.

Try pulling both fusses and then let let the system reboot. Sometimes that helps. If you have any cds with paper labels probably not.

That happened to me. I ended up having a CD stuck in there. (It was a CD-R) I have the Pioneer head unit.

Pull the head unit. On a well-lit workspace, open the slot door and inspect the loading slot. If you can see the CD, reach in with a small pair of needle-nose pliers and pull out the CD.

I don't use cheap CD-Rs anymore in the CD Player. :D

Don't use stick on labels. this will make the CD thicker and it will get stuck.
