You can take off your cats BUT it may be illegal in your state. Without a cat you will not be able to pass smog inspection if your state has inspections.

will it be louder louder or just little louder cause i want LOUDER like closest i can get to an f150 at least. but i like my purr now it sounds good i jsut need it louder
It will be loud. I still have 2 cats on, and mine is 117db at WOT, measured from in front of the ST, not the exhaust. All of the guys here in AL have lifted F150's and Silverados and what not, I've been asked on more than one occasion if I would open the hood b/c they didn't believe it was a V6.
