Thanks Gary, 8 days ago I went in for a cardiac catherization. The doctor counldn't do the procedure and stated "you need an open heart procedure". Thursday afternoon I was tranfered to Beth Isreal Hospital, Friday morning I underwent a quadruple by-pass. Just got home yesterday, feels like I been on a rerun of the "Fight Club". But I'm ok and one day at a time. Glad everyone is ok. BC :smack::smack:

bob,

best of luck and a speedy recovery.

in 2000 i had a heart attack in atlantic city on new years eve. checked out of AC med cntr and wife drove me home to long isle for the cath and a stent.

but open heart is a much greater procedure.

i guess now you know it is a "wake up call" to take care of the ticker going forward.

plavix for life.

take care and be well

Same problem. Didn't get the extended warranty and voided the orginal warranty.

Pain is part of life, misery is self induced.

Take Care

Bob,,my prayers for speedy recovery and healing. My mom had open heart a few years ago. Her healing was a tough part.

Holy Crap, I am glad they caught it in time before you had a major heart attack and that you are home doing well. The one thing that you will need to do, once you have recovered enough, is to get on a exercise program and lean toward a vegetarian diet. I know because back in 2000 my wife had a heart attack and triple bypass, and she is doing so much better now with a change in diet; but still working on the exercise part though.
