Has anyone put a set of adrenalin wheels on a gen 2 limited sport track? I am interested but am curious how it would look considering it would not have the ground effects.

I'll post a pic tomorrow on mine Charlie.

Hey there Bob C., what are you running for tire pressure? 35 psi? I ended up putting 275/45R20's on the Adrenalin rims. Thanks.

Hey Joe, I run 42psi in the front tires and 38psi for the rears. I also filled 'em with nitrogen, they don't seem to lose pressure as fast as regular air. I use more psi in the front, because under braking and steering, the weight of the truck moves forward. Having more psi stabilizes the side wall of the tire and less in back as its lighter (truck weight). This is an old trick from days when I used to "autocross". It handles like its on rails. Thanks Bob. I'm going to ponder those numbers a bit. Ahh, I too am a former autocrosser and fortunate to have won a few trophies in the day with my '77 Trans Am. While your approach is the rule for autocross I would think center tire wear would increase at a much more quicker rate, no? Interestingly because of the autocross days, with the Mustang;s I've had I would run about 2 psi over stock recommended for that same reason. As long as you aren't noticing any abnormal center tire wear I will probably up mine at least a few in the front and just under that in the rear. Thanks again.

Adrenalin wheels with 275/45R20's. I just put the main billet grille on the front instead of all 4 sections. I kind of like the look.

Joe M........You kind of like it???? It looks great!!! It gives the truck an aggressive stance. The wheel package, combined with the grille and the color= stealth. And with the supercharger.....awesome!!

Thanks Charlie. I really appreciate that!

No, I'm definitely one happy camper. The wheels I love. The grille combo I kind of stumbled on, but between your reaction and my son's, its all good! Did you notice the subtle red Saleen badge where the chrome V8 emblem is suppose to be?

I'm going for trip number 3 back to Mavis, truck is pulling to the right from the new tires (which were balanced and front end was aligned). They checked the alignment, and rotated RF to RR but it is still there. Gonna have them go for a ride with me this time, and suggest (based on Tire Rack tech info) to have them switch the 2 fronts even though its a directional tread. I think I have a bum new tire (probably left front) . I just hope the cooperation is there. If that gets taken care of then I'll be all set to do some cruizin. :driving:
