All true, but you cannot get invisible ribs as pictured above, at your local food store...that's why MdDonald's has cornered the market on availability or this rare treat.:bwahaha:

Maybe they should rename it to a "Pulled Pork" sandwich and they can claim that they "Pulled" the pork....completely out of the sandwich...:bwahaha:

Actually, I'm not sure the McRib ever had any real meat in it to begin with

If McDonalds workers start making $15/hr, I will demand $40/hr.

Work the entry level job, get paid what it's worth, gain some experience and move on to a higher paying job. If you're going to make a career in fast food, move up! Don't expect yearly wage increases just because you're more efficient at slapping a burger together after ten years. Managers are well compensated and you don't have to be a genetic lottery winner to be one.

Hugh,

You are 100% percent correct. It's a simple fact that if you can't handle an entry level position, you will never step up to a position with more responsibility and more pay.

It's all about attitude....Even entry-level, minimum wage jobs give you experience, and the opportunity to show that you are worth more. Most managers and supervisors will notice that you are a cut above the basic minimum wage worker and you will move up. The more responsibility you accept, the faster you will be promoted. If your manager is giving you more responsibility without additional pay, then you might need to look elsewhere for work.

I was disappointed to hear Jay Leno advocate a "living wage" for McDonald's workers this past Monday night. I thought he was just trying to test Megyn Kelly but after he admitted to Bill O'reilly that he bought into Obama hook, line & sinker I'm pretty sure that he wasn't.

...he went so far as to say that kids between 15 & 19 should get an "entry level wage" while people 19+ should get a higher wage. Somehow I think that the idea that if his scheme were implemented there'd be no one working at McDonald's above 18 years of age was lost on him.

So a person shouldn't make less money because they are low skill/experience but discriminating based on age is okay? Some people just don't think.
