Anyone interested in a set? I can make more if I get a few buyers.

Yeah I know Josh. I'm adding some to the tailgate as well as part of an experiment. I have too much black right now and it clashes so I might not keep it up until I add more chrome.

Thanks Joe, it could have been alot better but I was rushing and didn't even bother to prep the surfaces, just trying different things.

Yes Nick it is a type of vinyl but very metallic. It's dosent form fit and has to be handled very precisely. Almost like a foil or very thin sheet aluminum. I think it looks very good though for what it is.

I f anyone has chrome or even polished wheels and maybe those door handle covers, this can be a great accenting piece. Just figured I'd share the idea and if anyone was interested I can make a set for them.

If that is vinyl then it is the diamond plate style vinyl which scratches very easily and doesn't conform real well since it's not cast vinyl. In the end it will peel. Not trying to burst your bubble but I work with that kind of vinyl all the time and I always have to tell my customers not to expect it to last that long with the winter months ahead.

Thanks,

SST

It's been on for 3 weeks now. No problems so far.

Oh and what residue?
