Looks like it may be a decent upgrade from my basic Ford speakers.

Looks like they are from a premium Ford sound system, wonder if you need the factory amp for these?

Jeff, they are the same wattage as the OEM's I took out and I have the stock system. (not premium) So no factory amp would be needed. You'd probably do better just going and getting aftermarket speakers. Just my opinion.

Look like the ones I threw away when replacing my stock speakers couple years ago.

The speakers posted on ebay are from the Ranger 290-watt sound system, manufactured by Pioneer from 2004 to present.
