Anyone who's bought or sold a bed extender online - shipping question

How was it shipped? And if it was sent through Greyhound, was it packaged up or just an address label attached? Actually, if it was shipped any other way, let me know how it was packaged. Thanks.

I sold one and shipped it ups without any problems. Packaged it up. Basically wrapped it in cardboard/ make shift box.

The bed extender comes apart very easilly. Before shipping, disassemble it then ship. It will cost less to ship...much less.

I bought mine and it was wrapped in saran wrap. Shipped from the UPS store.

A guy shipped mine via Greyhound and charged me $20 for shipping and handling--wrapped pretty tight with plastic wrap.

I too did the Greyhound thing and I think it cost about $30 or so from Cincinnati to Raliegh.



I just got some huge pieces of cardboard and mess of bubblewrap from work. wrapped it up good and then boxed it up. UPS wanted $120 because of the dimensions of the box and not the weight.



Greyhound worked great...I purchased a Westin Safari bar from someone on here and had it sent by the bus and it worked out great.

I bought one a while ago.

Had it shipped USPS.

it was broken down by taking the vertical sopprts out. and then wrapped.

worked great. and was very easy to put back together.
