I am a hunter which means I take game on a somewhat regular basis. Just because I own the land where I do most of my hunting that does not give me or anyone else the right to disobey the state's game laws. In most states including PA wild animals are considered property of the state, not the landowner. If you disobey a game law, even on your own property, you are liable for whatever penalties apply which in many cases include loss of hunting privileges for several years. I enjoy hunting too much to take that risk.
Also, the penalties for illegally taking a big game "trophy" in PA such as a black bear include restitution to the state for the value of the trophy which, in the case of that particular animal, would be several thousand dollars.
Besides, that type of behavior just gives the anti-hunters more "ammunition".
