Arm rest seperating, screws

Anyone else have there armrest start seperating? I was able to get some bigger screws to screw it back together. It seems the tiny little black phillps screws stripped out and fell out.

It does seem the little catchs that recieve the armrest when you shut it take a little more effort to release then they should.

If you have a Gen1 Job 2 ST and your armrest is just now seperating, your doing pretty well! I already re-upholstered mine twice and I'm about to do it again. Usually the plactic inside the armrest cracks where the screws insert due to the fabric pulling out the screws everytime you put your arm on it. After time, the screws strip the threads or crack the plastic. The only option (I'm aware of) is to replace the plastic piece inside the armrest and put the fabric back on LOOSELY. Allow it some play so it doesn't pull on the screws everytime you put your arm down.



I think there might be a member project to replace the plastic piece with a piece of metal. That probably works better. I'll probably try that next also. :supercool:
