Ok, I know, I lied the last time I said that it would be my last computer question. So here goes.

I had to do a system recovery. When I did it lost some of the temp files I need to get some of the programs to "set-up" and install right. I figured I'd be able to use my "Application Recovery" to restore anything that was on the computer when I bought it. Well, long story short, it won't work either. Hell, I can't even get the thing to run. It just takes me to the main page when I try to run it. I contacted a tech from my computer's manufacturer and they told me to do a "non-destructive restore" and that should work. I would rather not have to do that. All I'm looking for is a couple of files for a "Sonic" cd-dvd burning software that was on the computer when I bought it. I've used a few different ones before but this one I liked. I also have others but don't care for them as much. Plus, "Sonic" has the program to use my "Lightscribe" technology and the others don't.

What I'm asking is, is there any way of getting those files back? I think they might have been deleated by one of my other programs (being that they seemed to be in the "Temp" folder) I looked at download.com for any programs to help me and there are tons, but they seem to be for other drives, not the one you are working from.

Let me know. Thanks.

i've been useing SureThing CD labeler 4 to burn light scribe disks.. downloaded it or free..

there is a version of nero that does it too.. came with my dvd bruner ( I/O Magic)
