Cool video. I saw a flock earlier this summer near us--not nearly as large as that video, but large for this region. The mechanics of their flight patterns is incredible. I remember going over some of the physics involved in their patterns in a college fluid dynamics course years ago. Fascinating stuff. Thanks for the post!
 
I'm sad that so many Americans think of them as junk birds and shoot them for target practice. My starling will play games with me and cuddle and fall asleep in my folded arms. He such a good singer. He makes me smile everyday.

Good looking birds to me. Their movements in flock are soo' fluid. It was cool with the music.

I like to shoot.I shoot targets only. Never have game hunted.

'Nam was a different story.
