does wayne need my vin# and such?..will be ordering in 2 weeks 2001 job 1 ST...I'm anxious! stock with KN drop in filter, no EPC adjustments or exhaust yet (one thing at a time) I keep getting the CE light for "excessive gas in recirculation system"P0401 or 02 I forget...do I need to change the DPFE sensor? I have a locking gas cap on it, autozone told me prolly the gas cap...god I love this site...Thanks Rich Stern and the Loyals

Hello Dennis!!!



I will need the PCM code off the Sporttrac. It will be under the hood, on the PCM itself, over the passenger side of the engine, sticking out of the firewall. There will be a 1" x 4" sticker on there with a bar code, and then the PCM code will be over that. The PCM code will be larger than the other numbers/letters on that sticker. For ex, a code for an 01 Job 1 is TTY2.



As far as that code goes, sounds like the DPFE sensor to me sir.
