Back up light question

Has anyone installed auxillary back-up lights?



I saw a truck today that had them and thought it would be nice to put on the ST for us night blind people.

Look in my library folder: exhaust system, RH & LH tip files. Pilot brand, got mine at Autozone.

Yes. If you have a trailer hitch you can mount them to it. I drilled and tapped a couple of 1/4-20 holes and mounted a pair or rectangular driving lights facing rearward and slightly to the out edge of each side.

White Night makes a pair for the hitch...very bright.

Hella fog lamps. They're triggered to go off with the reverse lights via a relay (power from 12v power in bed) or through the wireless optilux switch. Handy if I am doing some work behind the truck and need some lighting.
