Background music

I'm trying to find some decent background music for website pages and or slide shows. All the "FREE" have a fee associated to their royalty free music. Used to be able to find stuff almost anywhere. Not anymore. Anyone have any directions? Thanks

I think there is some music that is consider as "Public domain" like Beethoven, Mozart, etc that require no royalties, but the musicians still want their cut... I would look at trying to find some of that music recorded by generic orchestras, and perhaps where not musicians names are mentioned? Perhaps even computer generated music?



Anyway, who has the time to look at every page on every website to see if someone used their music? :grin:
