ball joints & tie rod ends, Greasable???

Has anyone ever tried to drill and tap and install grease zerts, on the Trac?

I did this to a '88 T-Bird and it worked, the grease went in.. Evidently the grease cirquit was there. The factory installs caps on the joints without zerts

Ed I did this for my sway bars, But not the ball joints or the tie rods, But I believe you could do it.....

It was on my projects of things to "experiment with"

You can buy a $3.00 needle attachment for your grease gun at Auto-Zone and inject grease into your ball joint through the rubber boot. Mine were squeaking and this did the trick.
