Ball Joints?

Hello, I had my ST in for service and they are telling me that my lower ball joints are shot. They said that I need to replace them before they wear my tires unevenly. They wanted $500 to replace them. The tech I spoke to said that MOOG makes a good ball joint for the ST. Is that true? What are others using? Is this a repair that I can do? Any help would be great.

You can do this. Do one side and then the other. Will need a machine shop for the press fit.

not too hard and well worth the time and $$$$.
