Has anyone had any experience with a powered subwoofer from Bazooka or any other type of powered sub? I have considered this type of speaker due to the amount of space behind the seat. I know about the JD boxes that are available that go under the rear seat but was just curious about some or your opinions on the powered subs.

Thanks

If all you want is noise and "thump", they are fine. A good box with a good driver will sound much better; cleaner, louder, and crisper sound.

In addition to what tiger said, there are Hatchboxes available to go behind the sets without removing the plastic body panel. I looked at powered subs and found that they will have to go under the seats. This is fine as long as you don't wan to fold the seats down. Its about doing what suits you though not what we say is best.
