Bed capacity

This is probably on the site already, so a link would be fine...its late and I cant find the info I want.



We are looking to do a landscaping project which involves, among other stuff, building stone pillar light posts. There are 2 varieties of bricks that I am considering buying - one is 25 lbs/brick and the other 55. I will probably need to bring home over 4000 lbs of materials.



I have a 2004 4x4, how much weight can I safely put in the bed per trip? I am hoping I can, between the bed and a towed trailer, do this all in one trip but I do not want to tear anything up in the process.



Any suggestions/info would be greatly appreciated as I am not mechanically inclined.

1500, some have pushed that alittle. But they had helper springs.

Look into having it delivered. When I did brick walkways at my house it was cheap enough to have it delivered, plus then they put it on the ground for you. I would have paid that much just to have someone unload my truck.

I would love to have it delivered...but it would be about a 40 mile delivery. I guess it doesnt hurt to check with them!
