After reading most previous posts, i'm still not clear on my best option for an exhaust / muffler replacement ... Todd and others please advise

I want single in/dual outs ... i want absolutley NO increase in sound in the cab

From what i read, best power gain comes from keeping 2.25 in / outs on pipes

So question

Whats the best muffler with maximum quiet

Recommendations on simplest (and likely cheapest) routing of pipes ... leave the stock and make mirror image to other side / make 2 new pipes exiting out the back? Other?

Thanks all

I also agree,

I have the areo exhaust system, and although I love the system, if your looking for a dual exhaust system, flowmaster is your best route to go without cab sound.

I would go with the 2.25 inch pipes or even 2 inch duals with 2.25 tips.

Get the highest numbered Flowmaster they make, I think Big D is right with it being the 70 series..

That will be the best bet..

Any thing you do will make it slightly louder, and will give you performance...

Most quiet free flow exhaust is probably the Magnaflow with 2.5 inch pipes. It give a slight huskiness to the exhaust note but is in no way annoying.

I would agree with Mike C if you want to spend the money. The Magnaflow system is fantastic......

But it is a single in/out........
