BG products?

Ford tried to sell me these things during service today. Anyone have any experience with them? They say BG will pay up to $2000 on repairs.

I put in a can of BG-44K every 5000 miles. The shop I use for all my service needs does uses BG products and services.

I have used BG products before at the shop and IMO...they are what they are, they are better than most of the over the counter stuff that you find at auto parts stores though. Shops like to use them because they get kickbacks from BG for every product that they sell, each can has a chip in it that is worth x amount of $$ that the tech turns in to the rep when they come around and the shop also receives a kickback...so there is alot of incentive to push this product. A place I used to work at in San Diego used this stuff and I could easily get $300 a month from the BG rep
