I don't know if these are the end times or not.

The Word says that only He knows, but it is thought provoking isn't it?

Good thing I'm stocked up on beer then.

Hummm, I think the instruction manual says something about, storing up our treasures in heaven.

At least you won't be thirsty.....for a while ;)

I believe we are seeing the road signs. When is still in question. The hidden phopesies are coming to life at a faster rate all the time.

Im Himmel gibt's kein Bier,

Drum trinken wir es hier.

Denn sind wir nicht mehr hier,

Dann trinken die andern unser Bier.

Sicher muß der Wein vom Rhein

Etwas Wunderbares sein.

Sicher ist ein feiner Sekt etwas,

Was besonders schmeckt.

Sicher ist der Schnaps so scharf,

Daß man einen heben darf.

Aber heut' seid's gescheit, liebe Leut'.

Im Himmel gibt's kein Bier . . . .

Jeder Mensch hat seinen Tick

Und seine Eigenart.

Eine fliegt auf glatt rasiert,

Die and're auf den Bart.

Einer möcht' nur Fußballspiel,

Dem andern ist das Wurst.

Ich allein gesteh' es ein,

Ich hab' immer einen Durst.

Im Himmel gibt's kein Bier . . . .

In heaven, there's no beer,

So we drink it here.

Because we are no longer here,

Then the others drink our beer.

Certainly, the wines from the Rhine

Something wonderful.

Certainly a fine champagne something

What particular tastes.

Certainly, the brandy as sharp

That is a lift.

But today ''re's clever, dear people'.

In heaven, there's no beer. . . .

Everyone has his Tick

And his character.

A flies to smooth shave,

The and're on the beard.

One möcht 'only football game

The other is the sausage.

I alone gesteh 'it,

I've always have a thirst.

In heaven, there's no beer. . .

We could have said all that in the beginning of WWI and WWII. Biblr prophecy can come true whenever we want to see it. It doesn't mean it is happening, already happened, or will ever happen.

For all we know, the bible is fake.

I have my faith and I live it as if the end is tomorrow. I am not going to sell all my earthly belongings and wait on a mountain for God to take me away.

If it happenes, it happens. If not, oh well.

The Bible tells us that "no one knows the day or the hour except the Father" Jesus actually chewed the Pharisees and Scribes for not being able to tell the seasons and then He described the seasons to His deciples. And, He also was talking about the second coming of the Messiah He did not say we could not know when the great catching away or "rapture of the Church" would be.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Jim:D

I could have a lot to say about a few comments. I will spill no pearls..

Have a nice day but consider the roadsigns if you have read any of the biblical phropesies. Theses present day signs and phropsies had nonthing to do with ww1 or ww2.

:D;):)

Good call Eddie:)

James 1:19

A wise man should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.

But Eddie the same things that are happening now are a combination of the things that happened before both World Wars. I think that the saying that pertains to now is "History is doomed to repeat itself unless something is done to stop it...." But I do believe that someday in the future our world will end and noone knows that dad except him..... We can only speculate on when that is and that is all it is at any time is speculation.... Just my two cents....

Kane, inways history will always repeat because of the selfishness of mankind. There is nothing new under the sun, just differences in people and places. The difference in the signs today is early last century Israel did not exist. Now that it does the end time phropesies are becoming clear and open. Your correct only our creator knows the time. I will not stand in fear with a sign on the corner. But I will do my best to stand ready in Christ.:)

Eddie,

Say what you want to say. What is happening today is nothing that hasn't happened in the past. I am sure the idea of the US dropping the Atom Bomb on Japan was seen as some of the worst days in world history.

We look at our past with Rose Colored glasses. We remember all the positives and little of the bad times. The bad times never seem as bad today as they did back then. That is human nature.

The difference? The information age. When there was a riot or political coup in another country 100 years ago, nobody heard about it. Today we do. If there is a major storm in Bumb Fu#$ed Egypt that is going to wipe those people off the face of the earth, 30 years ago we were lucky if we even knew where that is. Today, it is all over the news.

Is what we are seeing actually more and more things going on at once or are me just hearing about more stuiff than ever before?

People manipulate the bible to their liking every day

Exactly......as well as the Ten Commandments......wonder where it's written that there are exemptions to the rules such as "Thou Shalt Not Kill"

Kinda reluctant to drop this in on the discussion but our Earth's climate is changing and that has happened before too. Only mankind was not around to document or suffer from it. What happened then was a massive re-aligning of the pecking order where those at the top of the food chain were wiped off the face of the earth. I dont know about you guys, but unless we do something to change the path we are heading down, history IS doomed to repeat itself.

I'm somewhat with Caymen on this issue. I think the amount of information we receive on a daily basis is tenfold what it was twenty years ago, let alone at the turn of the century.

I'm not worried about the end of times either. Some days I am quite ready to move on to the next world.

Hopefully the gas wil be cheaper there.
