Hey guys. I have a RF P3 sub that Im pretty sure is blown. It worked fine one second, and when I got back in the trac, it just didnt work. I put the leads to another speaker I had laying around and it worked, so the signal is ok. I took the sub out of the box and attatched the wires dierectly to the sub and there is nothing. Not even static or anything. Any other suggestions before I have to go out and get a new one. This thing is maybe only 9 months old, if that.

Only 9 months should fall into warranty. Where did you buy the sub from?

If you did not get it from an authorized dealer, Rockford Fosgate will work with you. You will just have to pay little fees here and there, which may be cheaper then buying a bran new one.. unless you are looking forward to that :)

I had once bought a speaker from ebay and it had a loose dust cap. I called the company and returned it to get it repaired. Then got it back and there was still a problem, so I called once again and asked if I could use the return as credit towards getting a new speaker. They went along with the idea and I got a bran new speaker with a new one year warranty. All in all I paid retail for the speaker after the fees, shipping, and the cost from ebay. So it wasn’t bad, I just learnt something about ebay.
