Frankly I don't think boycotts work. The only thing I conciously boycott is Rolling Rock beer since AB bought the brand and closed the local brewery. I prefer a positive approach by simply buying things from places I support.
I'm beginning to settle on Iron City Light beer. I'm not a fan of either light beer or regular Iron City but I.C. Light is not bad stuff. Next closest beers are Straub or Yuengling but Yuengling is made out east. Penn Pilsner is actually made in Maryland. I like Stoney's Beer but it's hard to find. When you drink as much beer as I do, keeping your money local makes a difference in the local economy. :lol: Besides, the aluminum bottles are cool.
