Brake Connector on 2005 Sport Trac?

I'm having to connect a brake controller on my 2005 Sport Trac. I know I have to install a 7-pin connector and I'll convert my 4-pin all ready there. What I need to know is if there is a connector under the dash for connection of the brake controller. If the connector is not there, does anyone know the wire colors and where they might be under the dash to make the connection?

etrailer.com has an entire installation kit with videos. I installe mine in my 2001 and its not bad at all.

Just for informationa purposes, there is a wire under the back of the Sport Trac labled CHMSL or something like that. That is for the Center High Mounted Stop Light.



I have never hooked up a brake controler but it seems obvious that the wire has a purpose and perhaps can be used for to trigger your trailer brake controller???



This may be something worth looking into.
