Went in for an oil change last weekend at the dealer they said my front pads were 50% worn i only have 22000ish miles but i do a lot of stop and go city driving any recommendations for some good pads and rotors?

Try a thread search - brake jobs are a common maintenance item, so you'll find any number of combinations that other members like. Last set of pads I put on a previous Gen2 Trac were Akebono ceramics, and I liked the way they performed. NAPA has a wide selection of brake parts, as do Amazon and RockAuto. If your truck has 22K miles you should be able to just replace the pads; I'd have the rotors turned. It's a relatively easy DIY job. Good time to flush the brake fluid too.

Ge xero if there is 50% left then you have 22000 miles to go before changing.

Akebono all the way - I run hard and when the blower winds down - i gotta stop! love the brake pads and since I have Black Chrome wheels - the lack of brake dust is awesome!
