I don't have a 2wd option. It has three buttons. AWD, HIGH AND LOW. I can scan the percentage of PWM on the transfer case clutch.

It is a 4WD, the AWD selection is a smoother working system that the earlier Auto4X4 system. No clunks when system engages because the AWD portion acts like a limited slip differential inside the t/case. I want to say it's like a 30/70 or 35/65 allowance.

That's how I understood it. The shop manual spend a lot of time talking about tire size and tire OD with this system.
Put a jack under rear wheels put it in gear? It will move because they are AWD
