Located a Hunter on ebay for $139 and a Kasei for $188. Both have free ship. The Hunter is shipped from Houston. The Black Horse, which started my quest for a BB, is well over $200.

139. is not bad,, everything has seemed to have jumped up in price,,free ship also works.. no matter which bar ya use i thing they all look good and a lot cheaper then a new bumper to replace. good luck..

300 seems a little high for a bull bar but under 200 is not bad,,,,i think there so worth having plus they look cool. most accidents are 5 mph and under but the damage it causes can be pricey. bull bar in front and a hitch in back.

I started a new thread:

They sent a "universal Black Horse" (not the Kasei that I ordered) but with the correct mounting kit. I thought since I received a Black Horse at the Kasei price I'd be ahead of the game. It went back on Monday, they received it and a refund was issued. Hasn't shown up yet on my PP account CC.

Was this what you got..
Going to install it Saturday. Just two brackets on this one, can't be difficult lol
Guess I'll save the box just incase. But I emailed him before he shipped it and told hom not to send s universal one

Unfortunately I packed my instruction sheets (many languages) in the small mount kit box that went back with the bar. But from memory it looks pretty much the same. Glad you mentioned to not send the universal bar. Good thinking. As I was trying to make the BH bar work, I went to the hardware store to purchase some longer half inch hex head bolts. This is the bolt that attaches the bracket to the bar end. But come to find out, they're not half inch but metric 8.8. I kept my tow hooks on. One bracket has a P for passenger side and the other a D for driver side.
When one has the right stuff this isn't a difficult install at all. Hope everything goes well!

Looks like it will all line up. I don't have my hooks on because of my body lift. But I'll get it to work.

Thanks

Mine also bolted into the tow ring mount - once I figured it out it was pretty easy to install and have had it off and then put back on once - I just needed to pull the tow rings off - put the bracket in place first then the tow ring - took a bit of wrestling and swearing to get the bolts started but after that it was butter - funny though after reading the threads I don't remember the brands Nevada Bob mentioned being an option - mine is a tiger something but the only one I could find online now that looks like mine says 1,149 dollars - I sure as hell didn't pay that - I thought I paid $149 - need to look at my records....

It's crazy how everything has jumped alot... just need to trim the bottom of the bumper to put the tow hooks back on first.

Easy install, had to trim lower area because of my body lift but I love it...
