It mostly depends on what job it is for a 2001. There were two jobs and they switched some things around half way through the year. Job 2's are known to last longer from my research, they started making job 2's around end of june/july. The one thing i dont like about 2001's is the drum brakes in the rear. Even though i own a 2001, i plan on converting the rear brakes to discs later on down the road. Also in my opinion i think after the second year of production is when they fixed most of the problems the first to years have had and added a little more.
But for any car 200 thousand miles is a lot of miles and its close to the end of its life in most cases. If your serious about buying one thats around the 200k mark try to get it as cheap as possible because they will have a lot of rust and parts will go bad.
As far as handling goes, it handles really well even being a "sport" edition. The only thing i would recemend is puting about 2-3 hundred pounds of sand or somthing else in the back during winter because that rear ens is light as a feather compared to the front end.
for gas milage a couple things i would look out for is if it has a toneau cover. If it does it will get you better mpg and check the car fax to see if the previous owners kept up with maintenence.
Hopefully my long lecture will help you fimd the perfect trac for you
