can 31" tires fit?

I checked the faqs and didnt see anything about max tire size with a lift. Can 31" tires fit? If I have to let some out of the torsion bars i will. I will also do a 2" lift in the rear. I am only asking because I can get a smoking deal on 31" tires and black steal rims.

Yes you can fit up to a 32" (265/75/16) tire on a stock height 1st Gen ST. Not sure if the rims you're getting will fit though. What size are the rims ( 15,16" ), width, offset, bolt pattern? Those things you'll have to look into before buying the set. Let us know and someone will be able to tell you if they'll fit or not.:worthless:

They are 16" not sure on the back spacing. The lug pattern is 5x5.5. I believe thats what we have. I dout I am getting them. They were on craigslist and the guys not replying.
