I have a hi-flow performance cat installed on a "clean" Y-pipe (all pre-cats removed).

Mine is made by Magnaflow. It added a throatier sound to my existing cat-back exhaust mod.

C2,

Here are 2 links of my truck before and after the high flow cat....

Mine is the random tech that Wayne sells...

The camera sucks, but i think you can hear the difference...

Eldon,

I bought mine at the muffler shop where I had it installed. They welded it in place, along with a custom fitted Y-pipe, to my existing cat-back system (which they also installed). This is a local shop - not a franchise - and they do quality installs (real craftsmen). I can't speak to the ease, or difficulty, of this job. It's REAL easy when you pay someone else to do it.

They charged me $225 for the Magnaflow cat, plus $125 labor for the Y-pipe and cat. This was 3 1/2 years ago, so I don't know how much the price would have changed by now. The part number for the converter was 94019.

I would recommend this mod if you already have the setup you've got. You'll love the deeper exhaust sound it'll give you.
