After changing my fuel filter I have a CEL P1233. I'm thinking that's because prior to fuel filter change I pulled the pump fuse and ran the engine to stall. Question is, how do I clear the code? Can I just reset the battery? I don't recall if this happened the last time I changed the filter though...

Did you have any issues getting the metal end unhooked bc i was just trying to chage mine tuesday and trired for an hour and half with 3 different disconnect tools and trying to make uo our own tools and no luck what so ever

Well, I sprayed both ends with WD40 before I got to disconnecting. The connector towards the engine required a little more wiggling before it came off. This is my second time changing it. The first time I was having problems like you. I had to get the this metallic tool in exchange for some plastic ones that weren't doing the job. There's another thread where pics of the tool are available.

yea i tried that tool also and still didnt have any luck..guess im going to just take it to the dealer they said with my own filter should b like 40$ which sucks cause its only a 10 min job
