"Check Engine" Light

My "Check Engine" light came on when visiting my brother in Penn Valley last weekend. Took it into the local Ford dealership and they found a bad exhaust sensor that Ford replaced at no charge. The service manager told me that they have replaced several. Maybe this has been posted already but just in case it hasn't thought you might be interested.

My bet is you had a code 170 or a 174. If so, yes the sensor trips as bad as it reads "Lean Bank". But in reality it is reading correct because of a vacuum leak. Hundreds have bought a new O2 sensor when in reality it is caused by this hose....



So even though replaced the sensor I would suggest checking this hose...
