Check Engine po456

My check engine light came on. I had it reset and the error erased. The error was a PO456. I do not know if the "0" is a zero or a letter O. Anybody know what this error is and what I may need to correct the issue if/when the light comes back on. I had no luck searching for this code in the message board.

I went to the link, and this error is not on the list. Think the person with the gague misread the error?

That is the GENERIC SAE definition...

I did a search on the web, and came up with this:



P0456 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Very Small Leak Detected



Tighten your gas cap, then reset the code...

As I mentioned above, that is a generic code, so there is a good chance it is... However, I'm not sure what the problem/fix would be, I only posted what i found online.

thats always meant a loose gas cap on every car I've looked at
