Chirping blower motor in Gen 2 ST

My fan in the '07 ST is chirping. It doesn't do it all the time and usually I can kick the fan up a notch and it goes away. It's intermittent...anyone else had this problem? If so, is it easy to change yourself or is it best to have a dealer do it? I do have a FORD extended warranty where it will only cost me the $100.00 deductable. Any info appreciated.

I have more like a belt squeek sound. Mine only does it when I start the truck, but its because I left the heat/defrost on. If I shut them off before the truck, all is fine.

blower motor- either bearings or brushes. Common problem on cheap motors.



Don't know about replacement on the Trac. Maybe someone has a service manual. Usually not a big deal on most cars.

also could be some trash that fell down the defroster vent. I have had other cars with rotting rubber foam seals around the fan.
