Has anyone tried to convert their vehicles to run on Compressed Natural Gas? I have ton of questions about how much and if it was done in California and has a HOV sticker. Thanks.

Im wanting to do the same for my home generator. I have a gas line on the other side of the wall from my shed.

Chasing gasoline after hurricane Ike was a PITA....

Contact your local NG utility or "clean cities commitee" they should be able to direct you to a conversion shop. On your genset check with manufactuers website for a local service center

Good Luck

Jim my generator is a 6500watt, 13hp Harbor frieght.

The motor is a Honda copy cat. The carburator is an electronic fuel jet.

I have done some research. If it can be done it will take some personal modding, Im sure.

Havent found a direct swap kit.

Though some shops agree it is a copy cat. They cant garantee the swap will work.

To be a harbor freight gen. It ran like a champ, for 17days after huricane Ike.
