hey dean,



do you know that if it is the brake switch gone bad,

will the brake lights will not come on when the brakes

are pressed. i am experiencing this when i drive my moms

car, they light up when you turn on the headlights, but when you brake,

the lights remain the same and the brake lights dont come on.

also she claims that when she drives it, sometimes the E brake light, will

remain on while driving.

On my 88 TBird that is what happened. The brake switch went out, the brake lights would not work. Also, the cruise control would not switch off when the brake pedal was pressed (that's how I noticed the problem). I had to use the off button to disengage it. It took about 10 minutes to change it out.
