Cudos to fellow member EddieS'04. Can't tell you why cause I'm sworn to secrecy but I can tell you that he said if I mentioned it on the site to say "Don't do it, it isn't worth it":banana::banana:

Nothing's a surprise unless Eddie gave you his cat. :bwahaha:

Actually, it was installation of underdrive pulleys on Jim's'07.

Seemed to be alot more teardown than a gen1. Especialy in the 100 degree temps.

It was a good half day though.

Jim, thanks for the gift of the pullers.

FYI, Gen2 tracs use a 6" three jaw puller. Gen1 can use a 3 bolt tri-bar type puller.

So how does it feel? You did the alt, water pump, and idlers? I did a billet "overdrive" pulley that added 39 horsepower to the ground. That's a trick for blowers not NA

We did the Summit Racing 25% which only includes the crank and water pump. As I mentioned a few months ago, someone broke into my garage and ripped the OBD 2 port out from under the dash so I'm stuck running on 87 regular. It is more responsive and doesn't seem to want to downshift on an incline as easily. I'm happy & praise God Eddie is still ambulatory and moving at regular speed. It's always a treat and blessing to spend time with him.:driving:
